American Rapper, Dwayne Carter better known as Lil
Wayne has been reportedly hospitalized after suffering seizures and found
unconscious in his hotel room in Chicago.
Sources revealed that, he was immediately rushed the
Northwestern Memorial hospital in Michigan on Sunday, September 3, 2017, where
he was reported to have had another seizure.
While confirming the news, a source quoted his
representative as confirming that the rapper indeed had “suffered multiple
seizures”.
The report further stated “his team tried to have him
discharged late Sunday afternoon so he could make it to his Vegas show”, but
his doctors were said to have advised against it, as expectations have it that
the Grammy award winning rapper would be in the hospital for the next few days.
He was billed to perform alongside Rae Sremmurd on
Sunday night at Drais Beachclub in Vegas.
This, however, is not the first time the rapper would
be suffering from seizures. In 2016, the Young Money boss who is allegedly
epileptic was bedridden for days after he had multiple seizures.
For some time now, Lil Wayne has been at loggerheads
with YMCMB Boss, Birdman over contractual issues. The rapper had accused him of
delaying the release of his ‘Carter V’ album for years.
At the moment, Wayne is trying to get out of the
contract with YMCMB and has sued Birdman for $51 million.
