Following his marriage split from Angelina Jolie in
2016, American Actor, Brad Pitt has reportedly apologized to his ex-wife and
Actress Jennifer Aniston for leaving and hurting her in 2005.
Report has it that Brad has retraced his steps and he
is on a mission to right his wrongs after reflecting on his past since the
acrimonious split from the actress, which was according to reports sparked by
his alcohol abuse and a drunken argument with son, Maddox on a flight to LA.
“He’s been determined to apologize for everything he
put her through, and that’s exactly what he did.It was the most intimate conversation Brad and Jen
have ever had. Jen was overcome with emotion. All the hurt feelings and
resentment she’d suppressed for years came flooding to the surface, and she
broke down in tears,” the report revealed.
"He apologized to Jen for being an
absentee husband, for being stoned and bored much of the time. He also made
amends for leaving her for Angelina,” the report added.
The Actor left Jennifer for Angelina after the pair
met on the set of ‘Mr And Mrs Smith’ in 2004. The couple had been married for
five years at the time and were together for about seven years when Brad walked
out in 2005.
Jennifer Aniston then moved on and got married to
Justin Theroux. However, the reported
stated that the former couple has now reached a ‘level of closeness’ and
Jennifer has accepted his apology.
