Inspiring moments from Stars Delight's "BABY" empowerment program in Lagos

On the 25th of November, Star's Delight held the 6th edition of its empowerment program tagged‘Be A Better You’ (B.A.B.Y) in Lagos to empower teenagers across public and private secondary schools in the state.This is in line with its mission to groom, coach, nurture and counsel young adults into becoming better people who will in turn affect people around them positively.

Over 250 teenagers from about 7 different public and private secondary schools attended the empowerment program with empowering and inspiring words from different speakers that cut across various works of life.

The speakers include the CEO of Jahda, Daniel Opusunju, Gideon Oghenetega; a financial expert and a hosts of other professionals.

Speaking about the program, the Founder, Star’s Delight, Ms. Dara Olaniyan fondly known as Smiling D expressed optimism about the impact it will have on the participants in enabling them to scale in their various endeavors and be a positive and shining example in the society at large.

“After the event, we expect that all the participants would have gained very useful knowledge which would enable them shine in their academics career and relationship, hence enabling them to become better people as the basic theme for Star's Delight is B.A.B.Y, an acronym for ‘Be A Better You’ ”, she said.

Star’s Delight is a humanitarian initiative that involves grooming, coaching, nurturing and counseling young adults. Since its inception in 2012, it has empowered more than 3000 young adults across Nigeria and other places like England and Chicago through B.A.B.Y.
