The mother of popular Nigerian music star, Simisola
Ogunleye simply known as Simi is set to get married this month in Lagos.
Mrs. Ogunleye who is above 6o years revealed this while giving her end of year testimony Yesterday at Daystar Christian Centre’s New Year cross
over service in Lagos.
According to her, since she joined the church 20 years ago, she had always wanted to get a
husband, but couldn’t find one since
the church was majorly attended by young men.
Mrs. Ogunleye who is a widow disclosed
further that as a result of that, her daughter had repeatedly advised her to attend other church services
like Mountain of Fire, Methodist and the rest where people of her age grade go to.
But she remained undaunted and believed in God she would get a husband at
Daystar and now she’s engaged, and will be getting married this month.
In her words, "I had prayed about it, so I was
trusting God. But the husband was not coming because the people in Daystar are
too young, but eventually last year I met a covenant husband."
"So, I’m engaged
now and I’m getting married in Daystar by January 2018 by the grace of God," she added.
