DMW head honcho, Davido has revealed his fifth studio
album is already in the works and we are here for it!.
The album is expected to be released in September.
The “If” singer revealed this while speaking
yesterday at the 12th Headies awards which held yesterday in Lagos.
He said: “My new album will be released in September,
expect it”.
It’s been almost three years we had “Best of Davido”,
his fourth album released in 2015 and with his recent songs enjoying massive
review and playtime on radio and at social gigs back to back, we only can expect
fire when the album finally drops in four months’ time.
Last night at The Headies award, the singer won big
as he carted away with three of the ceremony's biggest award categories . These include “Artist of the Year”, “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Single of the
Year” for his hit single “IF”.
